Yalla Atlanta

Updated: Aug 22, 2018

Restaurant Type: Fast Casual

Plant-Base / Healthy Eats Score: 7 out of 10. Delicious Mediterranean option that's hard to find in Atlanta. You can easily leave the non-plant-based options off of the bowls but there are many options. They also have house-made sodas that are a nice treat.

Krog Street Market, on the edge of Cabbagetown and Inman Park, is so fun. They have a ton of food court style places and sit down restaurants all with amazing plant-based options. Yalla is one of those walk up spots, though, so we usually take our food outside. Since it's a fusion of Mediterranean/Lebanese/Greek food, there's a little something for any plant-based wish you might have. I always get the fattoush bowl without the labne (that's yogurt). The bits of crunchy toasted pita in it make it a perfect balance. Here's their menu: http://www.yallaatl.com/ - they also have a spot in Tech village in midtown! They also make their own non-alcoholic fizzy sodas with fresh flowers and herbs. Must visit.
